Research reveals that BBC remains top international news brand in India
Industry research body Ipsos today announced that the BBC is the number one international news brand in English language in India, across both TV and online. The study into the media consumption of affluent audiences shows that BBC World News – the BBC’s 24 hour international news channel – was watched by more people than any of its international competitors in the past year and is the fastest growing general English language news channel of the past year. It also reveals that the BBC is the top international online news platform in terms of number of online users weekly.
