#Reunite with Judges One Last Time with MasterChef Australia Season 11

Nothing unites people like the lure of a sumptuous banquet. Standing true to this thought, Star World opens up the world’s most celebrated reality TV kitchen to Indian audiences with the premiere of the biggest gourmet series ever – MasterChef Season 11, on 16th September at 9PM. The show that will air as part of the channel’s primetime slot, Mondays through Fridays with repeats at 10 AM and 2 PM, is all set to bring families and loved ones together over their passion for food!

From delectable dishes to visually appealing presentations of an array of cuisines, the famous kitchen will showcase 24 home cooks battling it out to win the much coveted title of ‘MasterChef’. Equipped with distinctive skills, backed by differentiated cultural influences and armed with a dream to earn the apron, these home cooks will be judged by Australia’s favourite and world television’s most popular names – Gary Mehigan, Matt Preston and George Calombaris, each of whom will be seen on the show for the last time, this season.

The judges who built the show, into the legacy that it is today, will also be seen welcoming some of the greatest names from the culinary world. They will be seen mentoring and enriching the contestants with knowledge, creativity and the ability to create delicacies that reach straight to the soul. Some of these names include big wigs such as Nigella Lawson, Heston Blumenthal, Yotam Ottolenghi, Curtis Stone, Kirsten Tibballs as well as other sought after chefs – Jock Zonfrillo, Kate Reid, and Coskun Uysal among others.

Adding to the star-studded list, winners of the previous seasons – Indian-origin MasterChef from Season 10, Sashi Cheliah along with Elena Duggan, Billie McKay, Andy Allen and more – will also grace the show, thereby fulfilling MasterChef Australia’s legacy of reuniting people over sumptuous food. As contestants draw from the experiences of mentors and guest judges to move closer to the big prize, Season 11 also highlights the merging of cultures like never before. Keeping the tricolor sentiment alive on international waters, we have India’s Sandeep Pandit working his magic in the television’s most iconic kitchen, this season. Between the perfect score bestowed upon him by the judges, Larissa’s many immunity pins that became the talk of the town and the many mystery challenges that catapulted Season 11 into becoming the biggest event on television, MasterChef Season 11 has many surprises up its sleeve.

Powered by Jacob’s Creek, Cadbury Darkmilk and Edge by Titan, and partnered by Amul and Del Monte, Star World launched the show with a robust 360-degree marketing campaign rollout.

In a bid to #Reunite people over food, Star World took the immersive gastronomical experience of MasterChef Australia on-ground by hosting Mystery Suppers at Slink & Bardot in Mumbai, Pa Pa Ya in Delhi and Farzi Café in Bangalore. With the support of India’s biggest pioneers of India’s Restaurant Industry – Impresario & Massive Restaurants, the star-studded events not only hosted an exquisite menu but also some of the most popular food enthusiasts and chefs comprising Maria Goretti, Chef Vicky Ratnani, Chef Boo Kim, Mandira Bedi, Manasi Scott, Shveta Salve, Raj Singh Arora, food entrepreneur Munaf Kapadi among others. Apart from the Mystery Suppers, Star World is also uniting food enthusiasts from across the country with an 8 – week Ultimate Gourmet Challenge, dedicated contest that challenges the knowledge and love for all things Gourmet!

So come together as judges and culinary experts, Matt Preston, George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan share their flair for food one last time, on MasterChef Australia Season 11 on Star World!
