Revamped Henkel India Website Goes Live

Henkel Adhesive Technologies India Private Limited (Henkel India), a fully owned subsidiary of Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, the leading solution provider for adhesives, sealants and functional coatings, has revamped its website (www.henkel.in) to enhance user experience with new design, new content structure and new technology. The website concept takes the digital megatrends of changed user behavior and the usage of mobile devices into account.

As an increasing number of people use smartphones and tablets, it has become imperative that websites can be used intuitively and easily via touchscreen. Furthermore, websites have to work responsively on all devices – with content customized to the individual needs of different target groups. Henkel India’s new corporate website meets these and other digital trends.

This improved website is responsive, meaning it works across a wide range of devices— from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones. It is optimized for search engines and makes it easier to find specific content. It feeds a large number of different channels; thereby, transferring information for example onto the Henkel app. Moreover, it recognizes its visitors and adapts to their individual interests.

Some interesting features of the website include Brand Selector and My Collection. Visitors can easily search for specific brands using Brand Selector, accessible under the navigation point “Brands & Businesses” onwww.henkel.in. The selection can filtered as per Business, Customer Segment and Product Category. If the brand’s name is already known, it can also be found by clicking on the first letter in the A-Z bar. The list of search results shows the brands on rectangular card elements: On the front page, only the brand’s logo is shown. If you click on it, it flips and can offer up to two links: Under “More info” users find a one-pager with a general overview about the brand, while the second link is that of the brand’s website.

While surfing on the website, you can collect individual content elements or pages to access with a single click later on. Choose your favorites and simply click on “Add to my collection” within the content element or the website header. This function enables you to compile your own page containing precisely the items that interest you. And to forward your page by email to someone, just click on “Create link.” A new email containing the link to the collection you have compiled will open in Outlook. The email recipient then merely has to click on the link to see all the content you have collected.

With more Henkel India-centric content and images, the website would prove to be a key information platform for all our target groups.
