In 2022, businesses were back at spending on Public Relations with confidence, helping the industry bounce back and recover from the disruption caused by Covid-19.

The concept of integrated communications, which had been taking shape over years, made its mark in 2022, where we as PR Consultants scored offering blended solutions across PR, digital, media, influencer, social and creative. We witnessed more and more brands seeking and welcoming advice beyond mere PR on positioning, marketing, engagements, etc. from PR Consultants.

Key trends and developments in PR

While integrated mandates have witnessed an upward trend, there has also been an increased appreciation and demand for digital services on the back of a greater emphasis on SEO. In 2022, it was great to see the evolution of influencer marketing to authentic storytelling.

It was good to have the Travel & Hospitality sector bounce back, even as Beauty & Personal Care has been an area of rapid growth for us.

We are at a crossroad, where on the one hand there are global headwinds and on the other there is hope with a pipeline of promising business enquiries on the back of our hard-earned reputation, built over the years. Thus, an air of cautious optimism surrounds us.
