Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2017 concludes on Zee TV with two winners

After an eight-month journey, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2017’ concluded in a grand finale in Jaipur yesterday evening (October 29, 2017). Airing on Zee TV, this season saw two joint winners being declared – Anjali Gaikwad from Maharashtra and Shreyan Bhattacharya from West Bengal. Amul was the presenting sponsor for the talent hunt show.

The finale saw performances by the three judges on the show – Himesh Reshammiya, Neha Kakkar and Javed Ali. All the 6 finalists – Anjali Gaikwad, Shreyan Bhattacharya, Sonakshi Kar, Dhroon Tickoo, Shanmukhapriya and Vaishnav Girish – also performed at the special event. Another li’l champ, 6-year old Jayas Kumar, entertained the public with his antics and songs. The little boy from Delhi upped the entertainment quotient of the show, even though he was a non-contesting member of the show. The show’s host, Aditya Narayan, also put up an entertaining performance even as he and comedian Bharti Singh acted as the hosts for the evening.

After missing from the small screen for quite some time comedian Kapil Sharma made an appearance and for a change was in the host seat for guests as he answered Bharti’s questions. The actor is wrapping up his new film ‘Firangi’, which he didn’t fail to promote at the event. The film’s trailer was also shown at the event.

Both Anjali and Shreyan received a winner’s cheque for Rs 5 lakh each, along with the trophy. The other finalists received Rs 2 lakh each.

Speaking at the grand finale, Deepak Rajadhyaksha, Business Head, Zee TV, pointed out that ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2017’ was amongst the most watched shows on television and had garnered high viewership. The concept was very much in keeping with Zee TV’s renewed philosophy of ‘Aaj Likhenge Kal’, as the talented kids were scripting their tomorrows today by putting up such scintillating performances and emerging as the winners.

‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2017’ will be replaced by another talent hunt show, ‘Dance India Dance Season 6’, which will go on air from November 4.
