Saavdhan India competes 1000 episodes, undergoes a revamp!

When Life OK launched Savadhaan India – India Fights Back, it was in straight competition with shows in the same genre from other channels.

However, the show has managed to grab a lot of eye-balls over passing competition. The channel enters into a revamp of sorts as the show marks its 1000 episodes benchmark!
The show will now be called ‘Savdhaan India: Fight Back Now’. The new season of ‘Savdhaan India’ will see new packaging and have actor Siddharth Shukla as host for special seasons. The show is set to be more aggressive with ‘fightback against crime’ theme.

Commenting on this occasion, Ajit Thakur, EVP and GM, Life OK said, “Thousand episodes is a milestone for us and we are doing a new season with starts on 17th November with the tag line – Fight Back Now. With the new show packaging there will be a lot of other changes in the stories too. Unlike earlier, the mood of the nation has also changed when it comes to crime. The nation has become more angry and aggressive towards crime, so we thought of keeping in line with that thought hence we would be treating the stories a little differently.”

Saavdhan India has been progressing quickly bringing in the 1000 episode mark in three years. “With such an episode count, the show has been one of the most valuable shows among the others. The response has been really great. Also, we would have been able to touch this milestone if we would have been stuck to the normal one-producer format of TV shows. We have had multiple producers, in-house writers for this show”, Thakur added.
