SAB TV to show "Ramleela' in its comic way

Hosting a "Ramleela' for the 1st time, viewers will get a chance to watch each of the characters in an alternate avtar! Mukundi plays "Ram', Indumati potrays "Sita', while Beeji Pandey plays "Laxman', Guddu as "Hanuman', Mousi as "Surpanakha', Mama as "Kumbhakaran' and finally Surily playing a dual role of "Urvashi' and the director of the play.

This "Ramleela' comes with a unique twist as the residents of Gumshudaganj kidnap the "Ram' of Lapataganj! The residents of Gumshudaganj are insecure as they fear that they will lose their loyal audiences to the "Ramleela' of Lapataganj and hence to avoid this they kidnap "Ram' himself!

To add more drama to the "Ramleela' sequence, it was decided to invite the original Ramleela "mandali' to be a part of the sequence. After a long quest, one mandali was finalised to sing the Ramayan in form of a narrative.

Talking about the Ram Leela shooting experience, Biji Pandey aka Abbas Khan says, "The Ramleela "mandali' is an important part of our sequence as we wanted to bring the scent of the original "Ramleela' that has been showcased in our country since the longest time."

Commenting further Abbas added, "Though I am enjoying potraying the character of "Laxman', my only problem is that my dhoti keeps coming off! I truly wonder how the other actors are wearing their dhotis with such ease!
