Salman Khan and Govinda to team up for Mahesh Manjrekar's film

Both Salman Khan and Govinda in their individual capacities have contributed greatly to the Bollywood film industry. The former has been impressive with his good physique and charming personality while the latter has entertained audiences with his funny acts and unique dressing sense in his films . In the past they have given  numerous hits and the duo’s combination role in film ‘Partner’ certainly impressed their fans.

Both actors were recently spotted at Ketnav Theatre in Bandra to attend the screening of the Marathi film titled ‘Aajcha Divas Majha’ directed by  Mahesh Manjrekar. Their presence at the screening has created a buzz with regard to their upcoming projects. It is known that  David Dhawan, after the success of his film ‘Partner’ had planned a sequel for the movie which unfortunately failed to take off and thus both the actors were unable to work together.

But now there are strong rumours about  Salman and Govinda having verbally agreed to work together for Manjrekar’s upcoming Marathi film. Salman would not just be acting in the film but would be producing it too.

In the recent past it has been seen that whereas Salman has delivered hit films, Govinda’s career took a backseat due to an unsuccessful phase  in the film industry. Hence the upcoming project will  play an essential role in their respective careers.

Currently, Govinda is working on a remake of Avtaar (1983,Rajesh Khanna starrer), directed by Pahlaj Nihalani, who also directed the original film whereas Salman is focusing on his forthcoming film Sher Khan which is being directed by Sohail Khan.
