Workplace Excellence (WE), India’s first Television series showcasing organizations that have made a commendable journey towards creating and maintaining an EXCELLENT WORKPLACE, will go on air this week on CNBC TV18 which is India’s number 1 Business News Channel Dominates with 58% Market Share.

Workplace Excellence salutes and acknowledges the organizations that apply unique methods to create highly engaged, motivated, productive and loyal employees who have a sense of ownership and identity in the environment they work.

Over 10 weekly episodes, the program will highlight the achievements and performance of 30 excellent workplaces measured on a wide variety of parameters including work culture and employee satisfaction.

The program has been conceived and conceptualized by We Institute and the model of research on which the program is based has been developed by SkillTree Knowledge Consortium, and vetted by industry experts.

“In an economy with cut-throat competition need for short-term productivity and cost cutting often overtakes the long-term goal of creating a workplace where employees feel a sense of ownership and belonging. As human resource researches have showed, the latter model throws up more successful organizations which retain better manpower. It’s not easy to achieve a happy work place but some companies have come admirably close, and deserve to be showcased to the world and applauded for the same. When I started this new entity ‘Workplace Excellence Institute’ under the umbrella of SkillTree Knowledge consortium, one of my top goals was to showcase the unique practices and programs established for a happy, healthy, productive and sustainable workplace that makes each organization so special. By focusing on the examples set by excellent workplaces, we are trying to share their inspirational success stories for others to follow,” says Arvina Purkayastha, Chief Executive Officer (Workplace Excellence Institute) & Co – founder – SkillTree Knowledge Consortium.

“We are happy to announce the launch of our new entity, ‘WorkPlace Excellence Institute’ under the umbrella of SkillTree Knowledge Consortium, which will be deeply engaged into leadership development, employer branding and strategic advisory. With SkillTree’s global expertise on assessment, audit & strategic advisory in higher education sector, we will be extending the cutting edge research, thought leadership and consortium of global universities to enhance growth strategies & development for our clients in non-educational sector also,” says Shekhar Bhattacharjee, Founder & CEO - SkillTree Knowledge Consortium.
