Samsung Ads India announces four appointment

Samsung Ads India has announced four new appointments. Vikram Chande has been appointed as head of sales and agency development, Mitul Sanghani as head of operations. Tushar Tyagi has been named as customer service manager and Nishit Kanchan as sales manager.

Chande has more than 16 years of experience in full stack digital media, programmatic advertising and performance marketing. He has worked as the head of Adobe Advertising Cloud, national head of Group M [m]PLATFORM's programmatic buying unit and vice president of product, platforms and programmatic at Amnet, part of the Dentsu Aegis Network.

As the head of sales and agency development, Chande will expand the business in the region, driving partnerships and building relationships with agencies, advertisers and trading desks.

Chande said, "I see my role as ultimately helping these stakeholders plan for a rapidly changing TV viewership landscape, and will seek to educate the market about the growing opportunities in CTV. We will build a robust sales outfit for Samsung Ads in India, leading both DSP(demand side platform) and direct sales channels to grow our footprint here further."

Sanghani has moved on from JioSaavn where he was the associate director of finance. He has also worked with Mobileum India, TCG Private Equity and Deloitte in a finance management capacity. He will be superheading the finance and operations functions for both Samsung Ads India and the TV Plus content business.

While Kanchan joins from Times Internet, where he worked as regional head of Colombia Audience Network, Tyagi has moved on from Twitter. He has digital marketing experience from various roles at Wecash, MobiKwik, and Samsung Electronics.
