Digital Technology Leader, Samsung Electronics, today announced the launch of the Samsung NC110, 3G-enabled netbook in India. NC110 is Samsung's first 3G enabled netbook, available exclusively at Croma retail stores.

The netbook NC110 delivers an outstanding battery-powered performance. It's also designed to simplify everyday tasks with genuine Windows 7 Starter, an extremely fast start-up and intelligent wireless connectivity, so that the user can automatically connect to any available wireless network or even access the Internet using the smartphone. Weighing just 1.18kg (based on the 6600 mAh battery) the product provides optimum mobility. "Samsung's Netbook NC110 is a great option for every-day users who want more vivid mobile PC experience and key features at an affordable price. As people's needs evolve rapidly, we are launching a variety of options that are tailored to suit different preferences and lifestyles, so that our customers can always have the perfect solution for their needs," states Ranjit Yadav, Country Head, Samsung Mobile and IT.

With an ergonomic design and optimized key spacing, Samsung Netbook NC110 includes a range of advanced tools and features that augments the computing experience. Users can enjoy movies, videos and images that are clear and picture perfect even when you're outside in bright light because of the 10.1" anti-reflective LED screen. An Island keyboard with an ergonomic design and optimized key spacing is more comfortable to use with fewer errors and easy to clean.

Going online is also extremely easy when you're using the NC110. Advanced communications technologies, including 802.11bgn wireless, Bluetooth 3.0 High Speed and 3G modem (HSPA), provide high speed access to the Internet and your data. Plus WiFi manager makes it easy to get connected by automatically finding and connecting to any available WiFi network.

Samsung's Fast Start feature can wake up the netbook from sleep mode within seconds of opening the display or pressing the power button. In this advanced sleep mode, data is also saved on HDD as well as memory, so the content is ready, just as the user left it, even if power is suddenly lost or the battery is changed. And for maximum flexibility on the move, one can use a Sleep-and-Charge USB port to charge portable devices, such as smartphones or MP3 players, even when the netbook is sleeping or turned off.

Add to this the fact that most of the Netbook NC Series' components are manufactured by Samsung and undergo extensive quality assurance testing thereby delivering exceptional reliability and long-lasting value.

With the launch of this model, Samsung now has seven netbooks in its portfolio priced between Rs 14,490/- to Rs 21, 990/-. The Samsung netbook NC110 is priced at Rs 21,500/-.
