Samsung India gets Mahesh Krishnan as VP & Business Head

Digital Technology Leader, Samsung India has appointed Mahesh Krishnan as "Vice President and Business Head' for its Home Appliances business. In this role, Krishnan will be responsible for managing the sales and marketing of Samsung's home appliance portfolio that comprises of Refrigerators, Air Conditioners, Washing Machines and Microwave Ovens. He will also be responsible for spearheading the Modern Retail function with the Consumer Electronics Division of the Company. He will be reporting directly to Ravinder Zutshi, Deputy Managing Director, Samsung India.

Mahesh Krishnan has handled various sales and marketing roles during his career spanning over 21 years. An IIM Bangalore Alumni, Mr. Krishnan commenced his career with TVS Whirlpool Ltd in 1989. Since then, he has worked with renowned brands such as ITC Limited, General Mills and Goodyear in senior roles across various sales and marketing functions. He was Vice President and SO Leader with Philips Electronics prior to joining Samsung India.
