Sandeep Amar turns entrepreneur; launches Pikboo.com

My Own Site Private Limited has launched one of the world's first platform to create websites for kids, by the name Pikboo.com. Pikboo is a simple platform to build beautiful websites for children. It is a unique platform - with design templates, CMS, navigation and other unique features dedicated to parents and kids requirements. The platform creates websites with dedicated domains to help parents track the life of their kids on the web.

The Pikboo process is a unique process to make sure all sites look great and there is seamless functionality. The process is a combination of product design, technology and manual effort. There is a small manual effort at back end by designers to make sure each site comes out great, this effort is highly process driven.

The other important part of Pikboo is the content, navigation and features - which are tailor-made for children and parents. A comprehensive control panel will give complete control to parents to edit the details on site.

Sandeep Amar, veteran from the Indian digital industry, is the founder and CEO of the company. Sandeep Amar, who was earlier the VP and head - marketing for Times Internet Limited added "This is kind of a paid, secure, parent's friendly 'Facebook for kids' with closed-user-group social experience. The closed-user-group is expected to be only with relatives and close friends."

"Great looking websites was our key objective. This needed some manual intervention - we have created processes to match product design and technology. It is not about having hundreds of templates, it is about matching templates with pictures and content.  We have filed a patent for this process as well." added Sandeep, who is a six sigma black belt.

This unique service will be available at most competitive prices. The international services will start from for $65 for a year, in India it will start from INR 4500 for a year.

"We are talking to photo studio firms and photographers in US, and will launch a Gold Package (with photo shoot of child) in US soon.” added Sandeep.
