Sandeep Kumar Das leaves MX Player

Sandeep Kumar Das, VP, Marketing at MX Player, is leaving the company after turning it into a market leader in just four years and being the driving force behind successful campaigns of MX Originals like  Warrior Hunt, Campus Diaries, Queen, Aashram, Samantar, Matsya Kaand, Bhaukaal, and Times of Music among others.

Sandeep, a brand, trade, and entertainment marketing veteran with more than 16 years of experience across vibrant media organisations and production firms, was the impetus behind MX Player’s ascent. Prior to joining MX Player, he held numerous senior positions at Rajkumar Hirani Productions, Sony Pictures, Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Disney India Studios, UTV Motion Pictures, Excel Entertainment, and Viacom18 Motion.

He has also played a significant role in rewriting the laws of marketing by using success stories like Gangs of Wasseypur, PK, Rowdy Rathod, Dev.D, Raajneeti, and so on.
