Sandesh, the leading Gujarati Dailies, launched Sandesh Knowledge Challenge to engage young readers.

Sandesh over the years has been continuously engaging with its readers and to further add value to it, it is coming with 'Sandesh Knowledge Challenge', a unique initiative that will educate, empower and inspire the students towards excellence.

A study has alarming findings but is probably not surprising to anyone who knows a school going children: today they are texting, scrolling and using social media instead of reading books and magazines.

Thus we came up with this unique program - Sandesh Knowledge Challenge which aims to enhance the knowledge of students through research, reading and writing and at the same time it’s rewarding.

What is Sandesh Knowledge Challenge?

We have conceptualized this activity is very simple manner that Read, Think, Write and Win.

Students who are interested to participate will need to read Sandesh newspaper daily, where we will publish 80 knowledge based topics in the duration of 130 days from 11th Dec 2019.

Out of the 80 topics published, students will have to select any 52 topics of their interest then think and write about them on the pre designed Activity Sheet provided by Sandesh.

Once the contest is over, the activity sheet will be judged by expert and the best entries will win lots of awards & rewards like Disneyland International Tours, Imagica National Tours, Car, Scooty etc and Winners will also be featured in Sandesh newspaper & TV along-with their parents.

The Sandesh Knowledge Challenge is being promoted 360 degrees with the traditional advertising mediums along with a direct school contact program where Sandesh team visited 1200 schools and did a detailed presentation to their top management, principals & students.

Manish Singh (Sr. General Manager - Brand Marketing & Circulation) said, "We are sure that through this initiative we would help to regain the lost reading habit of the young reader and help them to learn how to think and come up with solutions for the challenges faced in the real life."
