Sanya Malhotra reminisces shooting for Ludo

Everyone loves themselves a relaxed Sunday afternoon to destress and what’s better than ending the month on a high note with an engaging movie to watch. This month, Sony MAX is all set to bring the World Television Premiere of 2020’s much loved action & crime anthology drama, Ludo on 28th February at 12PM. This fun filled multi-starrer movie directed by Anurag Basu is bound to keep the audiences engaged within its game of dice.

The intriguing anthology is produced by T-Series, Anurag Basu Productions and Ishana Movies boasts an ensemble cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, Pearle Maaney, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Rohit Suresh Saraf, Saurabh Sharma and Inayat Varma. The comic thriller is centered on the unavoidable jeopardize of life and has four different stories set in a quintessential Indian metro. From a resurfaced leaked MMS video to a rogue suitcase of money, four wildly different stories that overlap at the whims of fate, chance and one eccentric criminal. 

Recalling how 2020 was a remarkable year in Sanya Malhotra’s Bollywood career, she shares, “Workwise 2020 has been a great year for me with some big releases like Shakuntala Devi and LUDO. Now when I look back, I feel happy to see how it has been a year full of learning and exciting memories working with some of the great names in the industry. The best of all was working in Anurag dada's film- Ludo with such a huge ensemble cast. It was amazing to share the screen with veterans & versatile actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima, Pearly, Rohit and everyone else.”

On sharing the screen with Aditya Roy Kapur for the first time, Sanya shared, “Sharing the screen with Aditya was a sheer joy. He is a wonderful co-actor & I believe when you have such brilliant co-actors working with you, half the work is already done.”

Sharing her excitement ahead of the film’s World Television Premiere on Sony MAX, Sanya adds, “I always love watching films at home with my entire family. With LUDO’s World Television Premiere on Sony MAX, I can’t wait to microwave some popcorn and enjoy the film all over again. Ludo is a well-packaged family entertainer with comedy, romance, drama, and lots of twists and turns; I am sure audiences are going to love the film as much as we all loved creating it.”

Ludo will premiere on 28th February on Sony MAX at 12 PM.
