Scarecrow Communications, Mumbai ropes in Pravin Sutar as Sr. Creative Director (Art) from Geometry Global, Malaysia.

Scarecrow Communications beefs up its art department by hiring Pravin Sutar as Senior Creative Director (Art) for their Mumbai office.

After this development, the Art Department is now divided into three groups, led by three senior art resources – Kapil Tammal, ECD, Anjali Rawat, ECD and Pravin Sutar, Sr. CD.

Kapil continues to head Scarecrow Designs as Design Director.

With over 14 years of advertising experience, Pravin began his career as a junior visualiser with FCB Ulka. After which, he moved on to work at various big agencies like Everest, Publicis Ambience, McCann and Contract.

After spending 11 years in India, he moved overseas to Kuala Lumpur, working at Leo Burnett and Geometry Global (a WPP Company).

Pravin has handled some of the biggest brands, including Proton, Maxis, McDonalds, Petronas, Samsung, Coca Cola, Cadbury and Hyundai to name a few.

Apart from creating ground-breaking work, he has also won nomination accolades and awards at some of the biggest stages, including One Show, Goafest, AAAI, and Kancil Awards (Malaysia).

Manish Bhatt, Founder Director, Scarecrow Communications said, “His experience in a digitally advanced nation like Malaysia and his stint at Geometry Global, with an experience in Digital, Activations and Shopper Marketing, will add to Scarecrow’s expertise in creating communication for e-commerce brands.”

Commenting on his new move, Pravin said, “To begin with, I'm happy to be back home. I'm really excited and ready to apply all my experiences and learning of three years of the challenging, yet interesting Southeast Asia market, for the brands here in Mumbai.”
