SCREENXX 2022 Day 2: Streaming gameplan – Eye on the Big Picture

The 4th edition of SCREENXX Summit & Awards 2022 got off to a great start yesterday (November 17, 2022) in the virtual space. Dedicated to the world of entertainment, SCREENXX, the premier event from Adgully, straddles digital entertainment comprising OTT, connected TV, as well as the film and television industry. After two years of being held in the virtual platform, this year’s event is a hybrid one, held over two days. Day 2 is being held today, November 18, JW Marriott, Juhu, Mumbai.

Created with the core thought of ‘Small Screen, Big Audience’, SCREENXX 2022 features panel discussions, fireside chats and keynote addresses.

The discussions on Day 1 were dedicated to the vast broadcast industry and covered a wide array of topics – from the television ratings system to the future of TV to rise in regional TV viewership and the state of kids entertainment in India today.

The post pandemic period has seen a significant shift in the way entertainment content is consumed. The rapid rise of the OTT space has disrupted the world of entertainment. While the transition to digital entertainment has been monumental, it is too early to write off the traditional pillar of India’s entertainment industry.

Day 2 will delve deep into the OTT space, the burgeoning creator ecosystem in the country, and will also feature several well-known faces from the entertainment industry who have been doing some exemplary work in films, television as well as web series.
