K C College has partnered with Next Level Media Network (NLMN) - a leading sports development and communications agency based in Mumbai. "Sports is the fastest growing industry in India and needs industry ready manpower.  I'm thrilled that we have entered this space with a strong curriculum, which has been developed by the industry experts and our faculty is who's who of the sports world. The program gives students a chance to interact with the top sports managers and work along with them during top sport events. This is a unique opportunity for them," said Manju Nichani, Principal, K C College.

Interacting with the students in K C, Ronnie Screwvala was greeted with loud cheers.  "It is time India develops 5-6 sports besides cricket as there are seven broadcasters which need 24x7 content. Today, we have 85 per cent foreign content in our sports channels, which needs to change," he said.

U Mumba is the Mumbai city franchise of "Star Pro Kabaddi League" owned by Ronnie Screwvala and USports has great soccer training program. Next year, he brings Motorsports in major cities in an attempt to make it a destination event. "Sports reflect the pride of the nation. And I'm glad you are making that choice," he told the students.

"After interacting and working with some best sport companies and players on big events and campaigns, it was natural progression for us to create this program with K C College. The support from the sports fraternity is over-whelming. I'm confident that we will create a sports manager who is well-equipped with the rule book and hands on experience," explained Samir Phadnis, COO and Director, NLMN.

The program is already getting support from celebrities and the industry big wigs.

"The instant you declare any activity an 'industry', there must be management of that industry in a formal sense. So, yes, without question, a sports management degree can go a long way in preparing youngsters for what lies ahead in the wide, exciting world of sports. My best, warmest wishes to K C College and Next Level Media Network with the hope that your course succeeds in producing sports management professionals the industry can be proud of," said leading sports personality Charu Sharma.
