Senior level movements at Zee News and Zee Media

Following the news of Alok Agrawal’s departure from Zee News, news is that Samir Ahluwalia will replace the outgoing CEO. Sources close to the development inform Adgully that Ahluwalia will take charge as CEO and will also head Zee Media Corp for an interim period.

Ahluwalia currently holds the position of the Business Head and Interactive and Consulting Editor at Zee Business. Having joined the organisation in 1997, Ahluwalia has been associated with Zee News over one and a half decade.

In another major movement at the group, Jitesh Rajdeo, Chief Sales Officer, Zee Media has put in his papers at the group. While he is currently serving his notice period, sources inform us that his next stop would be Amagi Media.

He had taken over this role in February 2013 for the entire bouquet of Zee News, Zee Business, Zee 24 Taas, Zee News UP, Zee News Punjabi and Zee 24 Ghanta.

In his previous stint, Rajdeo was the Chief Revenue Officer at DNA. Apart from this, the other outfits he has worked with include Asian Age newspaper, Mukta Advertising, Modi Entertainment Network and Multichannel India.
