Sentosa in Singapore launches more attractions for guests

The fascinating island of Sentosa in Singapore has launched more attractions and the already launched have already increased the vibrancy and appeal of Asia's favourite playground.

"Sentosa has been seeing an overwhelming response from Indian travellers. Our relationship with Indians is special, and to strengthen it, we are pleased to announce the Preferred Partners Scheme for Indian travel agents", said Mike Barclay, Chief Executive Officer, Sentosa Development Corporation. "Adding to the array of exciting lifestyle and entertainment choices, we are injecting gastronomical delights into the Sentosa Experience by teaming up with long-time partner Samundar, the island's renowned Indian restaurant, and creating seasonal Indian menus that are set to give our guests a flavourful adventure at Asia's favourite playground. The word about town now is that SENTOSA stands for So Exciting Need To Savour Again and we will strive to live up to that."

Home to more than 200 attractions, hotels, spa retreats, beach bars, F&B and retail outlets across the island, as well as championship golf courses, a deep-water yachting marina and luxurious residences, Sentosa is going all out to widen its fan base with an exciting lineup for both its guests and trade partners.

The special menus will be introduced specifically for the Indian market and will feature old-time favrouites such as Suhki-Sabji Paneer, Tinda Aloo Fish and Bhindi Sambal. The menus will be refreshed every six months.

The Preferred Partners Scheme aims to target 3 cities of Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai where a total of 12 agents will be appointed as preferred partners of Sentosa. These Preferred Partners have Sentosa's commitment and exclusive support in their efforts to promote the island resort and its products. Besides being a significant contributor to the Indian arrivals for Sentosa, these valued trade partners are selected based on key factors such as their creativity in developing new Sentosa programmes, a shared common interest to promote Sentosa to the Indian consumers as well as their excellent partnership and collaborations with the Singapore Tourism Board.

From the hip and happening sporty lifestyle at Sentosa's three beaches, to the action-packed attractions, and the learning journeys that are set against the nature setting of the island's lush greenery, Sentosa offers a myriad of choices to cater to any fancy, need or budget.
