Set Wet Gel launches its Signature Styles Campaign 2016 with Ranveer Singh & Aalim Hakim

Marico’s marquee male grooming brand, Set Wet Gel, has announced the launch of its Set Wet Signature Styles 2016 digital campaign offering its style-conscious consumers three fresh and unique hair styles created by celebrity hairstylist and Set Wet’s Chief Style Officer – Aalim Hakim. The hairstyles have been carefully curated taking into account the lifestyle of the brand’s target consumers. Brand ambassador and ruling fashion icon of Bollywood, Ranveer Singh, will be officially presenting each of the stylish hairstyles- The Aviator, The Spunkster and The Wanderer on brand’s Social Media platforms and a dedicated micro site.

The grooming and styling space which is predominantly female-oriented, has lately seen an emerging interest from male consumers who are increasingly looking at new fashion trends online. However, being in its nascent stage, the male grooming market faces the lack of trusted sources and platforms for men seeking advice on new hairstyles that will suit them. Having recognized this cavity, Set Wet Gels has taken the first step towards entering the space and bridging the gap by speaking to its target audience of men between 15-24 years of age. Apart from the hairstyles, consumers will also be provided with expert tips on pairing these looks with accessories and clothes.

Set Wet aims to leverage Facebook and content portals for their digital campaign through creative ads and posts. Blogger engagement is also incorporated in the campaign strategy for which an event with the top male fashion bloggers will be hosted at Aalim’s salon whereby the expert will take them through each look. The bloggers will thereafter recreate the look on themselves and cover the event on social media.
