Several new features added by Meta for Facebook group admins

For Facebook Group managers, Meta has implemented a number of new capabilities to automate the management and reduce moderating workload.
Some of the tools and capabilities revealed for Facebook Group admins include the ability to automatically deny incoming posts identified as containing misleading material by third-party fact-checkers, eliminate misinformation, and broaden the reach of their groups to relevant audiences.
These new tools were created to assist administrators in preventing the spread of disinformation and managing group interactions:
There is the option to automatically deny incoming posts that are flagged as containing misleading information via Admin Assist. Before they are visible in the group, incoming postings that contain content rated as false by third-party fact-checkers are refused.
'mute"s functionality is being expanded and updated. It allows admins and moderators to temporarily prohibit group members and participants from entering or forming a room in a group chat, reacting, publishing, participating in a group chat, commenting.
Admin Home has been updated to help administrators manage their groups more efficiently. This features a desktop overview page to examine items that require attention, a layout update to make it easier to filter and find tasks, and a mobile insights summary to assist admins analyse their groups' growth and engagement.
The new tools will assist administrators in reaching out to the right people in order to build their communities. QR codes have been added to enable sharing groups and connecting with a specific community more seamless. Admins can download or copy and paste from the Share menu and share as they see fit. Users will be led to the group's About page after scanning the QR code.
