Shabina Khan presents India's first-of-its kind dance event, ‘REALITY IN REALITY’

Ace Bollywood choreographer Shabina Khan proudly brings to you, a first-of-its-kind event named, Reality in Reality, an initiative that she explored during the lockdown phase. She started off with the initiative with only a handful of people and now, has hundreds helping her for her cause. One among them happens to be her dear friend Tejal Pimpley, Founder of B You Dance Studio, who stepped forward to support Shabina and, was seen associating with her in this event. Shabina Khan believes in bringing talent to the forefront in the most unique way.

The grand event hosted at a well-known venue saw the presence of names like Daisy Shah, Upasana Singh and Sunil Pal who were rooting for Shabina and her thoughtful initiative. Even stars like Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Aayush Sharma, Zareen Khan, Manish Paul, Pulkit Samrat spoke to the event and Shabina through video messages sending their love and blessings for this initiative.

Talking in detail about her initiative Shabina Khan says“Reality in Reality is a safe haven for dancers who cannot afford classes, dancers who had to pick an academic route rather than pursuing a career in it and basically each and every dancer who is extremely passionate about dancing. My only thought was to provide doorstep opportunity to the ones who really deserve it! I’ve built this project on three pillars where I repeatedly say,‘AGAR TALENT APKE PAS HAI TOH HUM APKE SATH HAI’, ‘AAP APKE GHAR MEI RAHEIN, HUM KHUD AA RAHEIN HEIN APKE PAS’ and ‘APKE DARWAZE PAR AGLI DASTAK HOGI HUMARI’. This project started as a survey and now, I’m immensely proud to announce that #teamshabinakhan has gathered 300+ talented dancers all over Mumbai. Dharavi, Colaba, Jogeshwari, Juhu slums are just to name a few. I aim to provide the best talents with a dignified platform and I’m super happy and thankful to Tejal for making me the face of B You”.

Shabina Khan’s values consist of a passion for making a difference in this world, the desire to share the gift and blessings of dance, the deep belief that dance can free everyone from prejudices regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, or religion, and more importantly the longing for a more compassionate world. Shabina Khan has been in the business of entertainment for more than two decades and is highly appreciated for her work. She started off as an assistant in 1996 for Khamoshi – The Musical. She bagged her first independent project with Main Madhuri Dixit Banana ChahtiHoon. With more than 60 movies choreographed independently and having worked with most of the A-listers of Bollywood, she was acclaimed and awarded for Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo the most.
