Shailesh Shah quits IBF

Indian Broadcasting Foundation’s General Secretary Shailesh Shah has decided to move on, said our industry sources.

He has been unavailable for any comments.

Shah was the General Secretary of the Indian Broadcasting Foundation. With a robust career spanning three decades, Shailesh Shah has worked with The Hay Group, Price Waterhouse, Watson Wyatt, Satyam Computers and the JSW Group. He was also involved with organizations such as The World Economic Forum, The Economic Development Board of Singapore and NASSCOM.

There has been no confirmation on who is going to replace Shah in IBF, there are rumours that the Foundation’s deputy director, Radhakrishnan Nair has taken Shah’s duties.

Nair has 33 years of experience in publications and television. The Foundation helps him lead broadcaster-credit issues, manage the Foundation's day-to-day functioning, orchestrate several issues in various forums and committees, help in advocacy with the government and in particular, weigh in on legal and regulatory issues with deft counsel.

Nair who is a post-graduate in public administration and started his career in sales, his achievements in the media have always been at the peak.
