Shalini Poddar exits Disney+ Hotstar

Shalini Poddar, EVP and head of ad sales for Disney+ Hotstar, has left the OTT platform. According to insiders with knowledge of the situation, Poddar will join Apple Services as country director.
In November 2021, Poddar started working for Disney+ Hotstar. She was the head of business development for Google Play Apps for India, South East Asia, and Australia before to joining the OTT platform. She spent more than eight years working for the IT giant. Shalini formerly worked with Accenture Management Consulting for more than seven years as an engagement manager.
