Sharodiya Digital Impact Awards open its doors for the fifth time

Sharodiya Digital Impact Awards 2022, presented by Star Manch, in association with Candid Communication was announced on 30^th August, Tuesday at Eastern Metropolitan Club in the esteemed presence of Shri Madan Mitra, Member of West Bengal Legislative Assembly, Tollywood Actress Priyanka Sarkar, Indian music composer Joy Sarkar, Indian poet cum lyricist Srijato, and Ranadeep Bhattacharya, CEO of Star Manch.

The Sharodiya Digital Impact Awards, which started its journey back in 2016, is the signature event of Candid Communication. Here, the digitally active puja committees/organizations are awarded primarily in two categories, The Best Digital Impact Awards and The Jury Choice Awards. The puja committees have to register via Google form in order to take part in this. The registration starts from 1^st of September 2022. The participating committees also have to provide the links of their social media handles, which will be analyzed by the esteemed jury members. The committees would be shortlisted based on their digital presence in terms of their engagement, content, creativity, likes, shares, etc.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Swati Chakrabarty, Director Operations of PR & EM Candid Communication Pvt. Ltd., said, “The Sharodiya Digital Impact Awards aims towards acknowledging the digitally sound puja committees. It is all about merging the ethnicity of Durga Puja with the modernity of the digital world. The Sharodiya Digital Impact Awards 2022 is going to be bigger this year with Star Manch beside us.”

Ranadeep Bhattacharya, CEO of Star Manch stated, “Music has always been an integral part of us Bengalis. So, being the CEO of a Karaoke App, I feel extremely elated to be able to be a part of this venture. Hence, we are here to reward the Best Theme Song 2022 and it’ll be played on our app.
