ShemarooMe's response to Society Tea's outdoor advertisement

On social media, we regularly see amusing exchanges between businesses. While ambush marketing is widespread on digital media, it must be done with care when it comes to a somewhat expensive medium like outdoor.

ShemarooMe's billboard is well-placed and tries to engage in dialogue with Society Tea's outdoor ad in Mumbai.

"Masala nahi toh mazaa nahi," says the Society Tea commercial, to which ShemarooMe answers, "Toh masala chai ke saath ek masala movie ho jaye?" asks the ShemarooMe ad.

ShemarooMe's commercial, created by Ogilvy Mumbai, instead of taking the spotlight from Society Tea's ad, builds on the concept and makes both advertising more eye-catching.
