Shri Anurag Thakur will feature on Sony Sports’ Live studio show

Union Minister for I&B and Youth Affairs & Sports, Shri Anurag Thakur, will feature on Sony  Sports’ Live studio show, SPORTS EXTRAAA, ahead of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 on July 23, 2021 at 4:00 pm IST. In conversation with host Arpit Sharma,  Shri Anurag Thakur will share his views on the hopes and expectations of the Indian contingent  traveling to Tokyo and their preparation for the sporting extravaganza. 

India is sending their biggest ever contingent to represent the country at Olympic Games Tokyo  2020. A total of 127 athletes have qualified for the global multi-sport event, surpassing the 117- strong contingent that went to Rio Olympics in 2016 and the whole nation is looking forward to  their performance at Tokyo. Shri Anurag Thakur has also joined Sony Sports channels’ ‘Hum  Honge Kamyab’ movement to galvanize and inspire the country in celebrating the heroes travelling to Tokyo and wishing them the best luck for their success.
