Signal AI acquires Kelp

Signal AI has announced the acquisition of Kelp, thereby extending its offerings and providing the users the opportunity to measure and manage their corporate reputation better. Data analytics platform Kelp provides millions of data points from a range of topics and industries including from supply chain sustainability to research and development and from pharma to tech. Signal AI offers information about a company's reputation and enables customers to compare their business to others on various AI-trained issues.
Dan Gaynor and Shann Biglione, cofounders of Kelp, will work for Signal as employees.
The acquisition seeks to combine Signal AI's reputation insights with its external intelligence data in order to give users a better understanding as to how the communications and actions of their firm affect its corporate reputation. The information can help identify opportunities and hazards as well as guide more general organisational plans. With the aid of Signal AI's External Intelligence Graph, users may make decisions by seeing trends and patterns.
Alexandre Pinto was hired this summer by Signal AI as its SVP of data science.
