SIPWISE Beverages launches first digital TVC: ‘What!f Heroes’

SIPWISE Beverages, the smart beverage company, has launched its first digital TVC titled What!f Heroes, featuring Mr. Amarjeet Singh Chawla, a visually impaired 60-year old marathon runner and ‘gutless foodie’ Natasha Ravindra Diddee, a survivor of stomach tumours and now a chef. Mr. Chawla has also been appointed as the brand ambassador for the company’s new range of green tea and herb coolers under the brand name, What!f.

The What!f Heroes TVC, which was conceptualised by Jolt Media, celebrates the determination and grit of two personalities who overcame physical and mental challenges to achieve their dreams. The TVC inspires viewers to rise above their disabilities and ask themselves ‘What!f’ life has other opportunities in store for them.

SIPWISE Beverages’ association with Mr. Chawla and Ms. Diddee comes at a time when the company is growing its retail footprint across the country. SIPWISE is set to revolutionise the health drinks industry with an exciting range of coolers comprising green tea and natural herbs.

Speaking on the collaboration and the TVC, Mr. Harish Mohan, Founder, SIPWISE Beverages said, “The inspiring journeys of Mr. Chawla and Ms. Diddee define the attributes of our brand What!f. It stands for the endless possibilities that life has to offer if only one has the determination to not give up. We are excited to announce our association with them through this innovative TVC that celebrates their lives and success. We hope it will inspire others to follow their vision.”

Mr. Chawla, who is also a national level swimmer and a mountaineer, was diagnosed with macular degeneration at the age of 13, which led to complete loss of vision by the time he was 40. Elaborating on how he overcame his challenges, he said: “You do feel afraid in the beginning, but once you get going, the fear gradually disappears. I have been running since the past twelve years. I was 40 when I turned blind. I’d just lie in my house feeling desperate and helpless. One day, at the age of 48, I questioned myself, ‘What if I take a chance and start running again?’ And that led me to achieve great feats like running marathons and being the only blind person to have scaled up a height of 19,800 feet in China!”

“I was lying there on the operating table, open, waiting, either this side or that side. There was no hope. I had to get my stomach removed. When something like this happens to you, it’s a life-changing moment, a life-altering moment’’, said Ms. Diddee. “I did ask myself-What!f I choose to live instead? What!f I choose to turn this around? The first day I was back at home, I cooked! When I’m cooking, I’m in that moment. It’s a sort of a trance. I forget pain, I forget the discomfort that I’m in. I still want to eat. I started an Instagram page with the name ‘The Gutless Foodie’. I don’t want to exist. I want to live.”
