Snapchat shares its new Insights on Return to School

We all know that online studies have never been interesting for students, parents or for teachers, as the vaccination drive continues, students are now excited to get back to school and spend time along with their friends, in-person learning, the return of sports seasons, all as a part of their education that they missed.

Youngsters have not been able to socialize with their friends which has created an unwanted impact on their life. 

The return to IRL School will also lead to new shopping behaviours as Snapchat shared some new insights on their blogpost on how its users are planning for the coming school year, and how they're shopping as a result.

Snapchat also noted that over a third of Snapchatters are also planning on buying tickets for travel, accessories for their cars, recreational and hobby based equipment, and new tech devices and accessories.

With reopening of schools, sports is also making a comeback which leads to the purchase of new accessories and fashion.

"Snapchatters start prepping for practices and shopping for the sports season a few weeks before the first practice. Shoes, sports apparel, and equipment are at the top of their shopping lists, and they’re taking Snapchat with them on their shopping journeys", says Snapchat.

Snapchat has always played a key role in intimating friends connection & in influencing people's shopping decision. They are now supporting the snapchatters as they maneuver the year ahead.
