Snapdeal partners with Coca-Cola India and Intex Technologies to make this Diwali special for the underprivileged, celebrate the ‘Joy of Giving Week’

Snapdeal, India’s largest online marketplace, today announced its ‘Joy of Giving Week’ campaign in collaboration with Coca-Cola India, the leading beverage company of the country and Intex Technologies, a leading consumer electronics major. As a part of this campaign, customers can go to Snapdeal Sunshine, Snapdeal’s online donation platform, to donate stationery kits to underprivileged children. Coca-Cola India and Intex Technologies will match the donations of these kits up to a limit of 20,000 and 50,000 kits.

The campaign starts from 1st October and runs till 10th October, 2016 and the stationery kits (that include pencils, an eraser, a sharper and a ruler) will be directly delivered to partnering NGOs like Teach for India, GiveIndia, Bhumi, The Community Initiative, Care India, etc; which are actively working for education of underprivileged kids across the country. In addition, Snapdeal, Coca-Cola India and Intex Technologies will also run internal contests, where employees can register in teams and promote the campaign page to drive donations towards this cause.

The donations through Snapdeal Sunshine in the “Joy of Giving Week” are a simple way of saying that we believe in these aspirations.
