While offline marketing has been the reigning vertical all these years for companies to spend their marketing budgets on, online/digital marketing has been an industry changer. India is still a long mile behind the international markets, but it’s strongly catching up.

While taking the leap of faith and starting an agency is one thing, which initially comes with a lot of support from friends and family, sustaining the business is where your caliber and patience is truly tested. Not that their journey hasn’t been a sweet one, but it’s had their significant share of ups and downs. Devnani rationalizes,“When you are a start-up agency, it’s very important to not lose the vision you had at the start. Though SoCheers is a complete digital agency, our key focus is still to understand the traceability of the digital medium.”

The influence of digital medium among the millennial is very critical. Therefore success can be achieved only by offering the right solutions at the right time. “At SoCheers we don't believe in selling services, it's the idea that matters. Our ideas and our creativity-driven attitude enable us to deliver the best Digital & Social Media campaigns to our clients,” explains Guliani. Gupta further explains, “We are concentrating more on customized digital branding and understanding the right marketing mix. We also provide online and offline integration for brands i.e. providing a proper mix between digital and traditional medium”.

 

The USP

All three –Gupta, Devnani and Guliani – chime in and tell us it’s ‘the Team’. The people who work at SoCheers think of it as much more than a company, treat it as their very own ideology and deeply believe in the idea of breaking the monotony, in turngiving rise to a nest of creativity. Gupta adds, “From working late nights and attending client events on the weekends, we rarely see them complaining about the work stress. Although you might catch them complaining about losing a foosball match to someone else in the team!”

 

The shared ideology comes from the system wherein they decided not to separate themselves from the creativity of others! With no cabin system, no hierarchy, no seclusions, SoCheers has built a beautiful synergy that works in their favour. Devnani explains,“Our main objective is that everyone should have a taste of everything; no task is big or small. All work should be done with passion, and to create an atmosphere where work becomes pleasure, where there is excitement and an urge to do more.”

 

SoCheers positions their flexibility to adapt and 24/7 service as their key unique selling points. To reflect their expertise, Guliani brings in a case study where a leading shopping mall in Mumbai was facing trouble with the flexibility of the services offered by their existing agency. “They had events happening in their premises round the year that always kept the team on-their-toes. They were looking for an agency that can support them on anywhere-anytime basis. We handled them with ease and they are very happy with us,” states Guliani.

 

Goals ahead

While still concentrating on their vision to help start-ups, the company has forayed into acquiring clients across the globe, which adds a lot of exposure to their plate. SoCheers plans to bank on booming e-commerce waver in India for the next few years. “With e-commerce taking the show, the next big thing will be branding,” claims Devnani and further adds, “we are also looking forward for a rapid team expansion.” The company is also planning to create a strong base for their R&D departments to understand the buying behavior pattern of the viewers.
