Sony gets Networkplay to monetize Jhalak Dikhla Jaa on the web

Multi Screen Media Pvt Ltd (formerly Set India Pvt Ltd) and Networkplay , have partnered to monetize the online inventory of MSM's forthcoming television programme, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa (Season 4) another reality based entertainment programme the channel plans to launch in December.

This deal will mark Networkplay's consolidation in the Video Banner ad space and MSM's entry into in-house monetization of web properties. "Networkplay has always believed in offering the widest choice to its advertisers and signing up with MSM has ensured that we have not only consolidated our offerings in the Video Banner space but it is also with a partner who is a force to reckon with in the Television Space. We are very sure that their strength in the TV space and our strength in the Internet space will help us both go a long way and make this association very fruitful", said Ampreet Singh, VP ' Distribution of Networkplay.

JDJ-4, India's largest Celebrity based Dance show will start in the second week of December for a period of 14 weeks. The content on the site will include full episodes, behind the scenes rushes, score cards, downloads, online chat among other things and the advertising options will include rich media in addition to pre-rolls. JDJ 4 will have a comprehensive marketing plan that will ensure high traffic and engagement on the site. The plan includes elements On-Air, Online, Print, intensive PR, etc.

The expectations are high and MSM was on the lookout for a partner who would be able to do justice to the effort.
