Sony MAX brings to you family entertainer in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi

Idiotic banters, endless chuckles and abundant warmth, that’s what families are defined by. From the mighty highs to the saddening lows, no moment is ordinary, when spent with your loved ones. On the occasion of World Family Day, Sony MAX celebrates the spirit of togetherness with the blockbuster movie Mujhse Shaadi Karogi on 15th May at 3PM. Featuring India’s biggest superstars Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar along with Priyanka Chopra, the film is a rollercoaster of humour, drama and a hefty dose of action that’s sure to make for a gala family time

While a star studded cast and a soulful soundtrack is enough to keep you hooked to the screens on a Sunday, here’s a rundown on the factors that make Mujhse Shaadi Karogi a go to film on World Family Day:

Salman Vs Akshay: In the history of two-hero films in Bollywood, this one probably stands on top. Mujhse Shaadi Karogi starred Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar together for the first time and created a rage. From bhai’s brooding presence to Khiladi’s effortless quirk, the film is replete with a deluge of hilarious moments between the two that remain etched in the hearts of movie lovers. And that iconic reunion at the end…. Unforgettable!

Laughter riot: In addition to Akshay Kumar’s impeccable comic timing, the film is peppered with rib tickling humour brought to life by Rajpal Yadav, featuring in a double role here along with the veteran actor Kader Khan. And much to our surprise, the late Amrish Puri, the man who is infamous for scaring people out of their wits in films, adds to the humour quotient in this one.

Music: No good film has ever become great without some foot tapping music. Featuring artists like Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Sunidhi Chauhan and others, the film offers a musical treat in numbers like Laal Dupatta, Jeene Ke Hai Chaar Din, Aaja Soniye and the title track itself - Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. How can we ever forget the iconic towel step of Salman Khan?

Climax: Indians love their cinema, and their cricket. And what happens when the two come together? You get one of the most iconic climax scenes ever in Bollywood. In a drastic turn of events, the film culminates in the middle of an ongoing cricket match featuring real life cricketers Harbhajan Singh, Mohamamd Kaif,  Navjot Singh Sidhu and many more elevating the entire cinematic experience.

Hasn’t that stumped you already?

Join your loved ones for a fun filled movie outing with Mujhse Shaadi Karogi on Sony MAX on 15th May at 3PM
