Sony's Hindi GEC bouquet biggest gainer in Wk 18: BARC data

BARC has revealed weekly currency data for TV audience. In Week 18 (1 May to 7 May, 2021).

All Platform (HSM U+R NCCS All: 2+ Individuals)

There has been a decrease in average minute audience for the top two channels Star Utsav and Star Plus in Hindi GEC which stood at 2587.03 (000) and 2427.5 (000).

The gainers have been channels from Sony’s bouquet Sony SAB and Sony Pal which stand at 2076.06 (000) and 1782.38 (000) AMA respectively. Sony Entertainment Television also grew to 1175.56 (000) beating Dangal to secure 9th spot.  

COLORS Rishtey at No. 5 spot also grew significantly to 1514.2 (000) AMA over last week’s 1455.19(000) AMA. COLORS (No. 7) channel AMA decreased marginally from last week.

Zee Anmol (No. 6) grew AMA significantly to 1482.98 (000) over last week’s 1393.8 (000) AMA. Zee TV AMA dropped marginally to 1233.17.

Dangal dropped to last spot with 1143.37 (000) AMA.

Free Platform (HSM U+R NCCS All: 2+ Individuals)

No change in rankings week on week. Zee Anmol stood as the biggest gainer 1222.02 (000) AMA over last week’s 1144.44 (000) AMA. The Q stood as the biggest loser with 595.17 (000) AMA over last week’s 681.73 (000) AMA.

Pay Platform (HSM U+R NCCS All: 2+ Individuals)

No change in rankings week on week. Sony SAB was a big gainer recording 2051.97 (000) AMA over last week’s 1945.96(000) AMA.

Sony Entertainment Television also grew significantly to 1172.77 (000) AMA over last week’s 1118.48(000) AMA.
