SPARK PUNJABI launches new show 'Naadaniyaan and Bulbulay'

SPARK PUNJABI, the first International Punjabi Channel for the region covering Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh (PHCHP) from the joint venture between Reliance Broadcast Network and CBS Studios International, is adding in a new spark to its programming. True to its promise to deliver variety entertainment relevant to different target groups, beginning June 11th Spark Punjabi will feature special shows, pumping up its humor quotient.

 

Comedy seems to resonate very well with the viewers. Even in the PHCHP region and Spark Punjabi is taking comedy to new heights by launching 2 new shows Naadaniyaan and Bulbulay in the prime time slots.

 

Naadaniyaan: is a situational comedy based around three characters - Yasir, Danish and Nida. What do you get when you bring together a clueless husband, his selfish brother and his moody and always suspecting wife? ……lots and lots of Nadaaniyaan of course. They are always upto all sorts of pranks, sometimes fooling those around them and sometimes being taken for a ride themselves. With side splitting comic situations and the actors’ fabulous comic timing, this is one sitcom that will definitely leave you rolling on the floor. Bulbulay is a story of four lunatic characters who come together under different circumstances, to live under one roof, and they create chaos through weird situations. Their extremely funny conversations, when combined with the comic timing, promises to make audiences laugh like never before. The script, in each episode, is witty, full of puns, and wordplay which makes it a welcome change from comedy shows seen earlier.

The new shows are being promoted through an aggressive multi media campaign, featuring TV, Radio, OOH, Print, Digital, Cable, Cinema across the PHCHP region to ensure that audiences quickly sample these new offerings on the channel.
