Star and Zee Kiss And Make-UpŽ; Announced the launch of 'Media Pro Enterprises'
It's like a perfect Bollywood tale of friends turned foes and now again friends between Star and Zee. India's leading content aggregation and distribution companies, Star Den Media Services Pvt. Ltd and Zee Turner Ltd. announced a joint venture today for combine distribution of their respective bouquet of channels.
The new entity resulting from the JV will be called Media Pro Enterprises. The 50:50 JV will focus to create efficiencies in the distribution sector, incentivize digitization, address piracy issues and enable a content revolution in India.
