Star Jalsha ramps up its primetime with the epic launch of Om Namah Shivay

Star Jalsha has always been the true innovator, thought leader and content pioneer in Bengali Television and this June the diverse repertoire of Star Jalsha’s primetime will have a new dimension added to it with the epic launch of ‘Om Namah Shivay’

The series will explore the captivating tale of Shiva’s life, his love for Sati, his grief over her loss, his timeless union with Parvati and his legend as the fearsome destroyer of evil.

The show will take viewers on a mesmerizing journey exploring popular and lesser-known tales and re-discovering the saga of The God of Gods.

The show also promises to take mythology to the next level with advanced VFX, state-of-the art sets, immersive visuals and stellar acts and performances.

Through this show, Jalsha will bring to its viewers an ensemble cast of popular stars with Gourab Mondal playing ‘Shiva’ and Neha Amandeep and Sriparna Roy playing Sati and Parvati respectively.

This show comes from the content powerhouse of ‘Surinder Films’ the master creator of the superhit mythology – series ‘Bhakter Bhagoban Sri Krishna’ and Bengal’s most popular fantasy-fiction ‘Kironmala’, both of which were pathbreaking shows on Star Jalsha in recent times.

The enchanting title track is being created by ace music composer Jeet Ganguly, and is being sung by the popular voice Nachiketa Chakraborty.

The storytelling is complemented by the expertise of the renowned mythology consultant – Nrisingha Prasad Bhaduri and eminent artist Rupchand Kundu has been roped in creative visualization of the show-universe.
