Star Plus and Sujoy Ghosh come together to present an exclusive thriller on Star Plus

This summer, Star Plus is all set to give its audience a nervous tremor of emotions with its brand new offering! In a regular bid to entertain its viewers with diverse content, the channel teams up with an ace filmmaker from the Indian Film Industry, Sujoy Ghosh. The famous director and a screenwriter is recognized for his acclaimed films like Kahaani, Te3n, Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh. Known for redefining the genre of thriller, he will be exclusively presenting three movies which will be telecast on Star Plus.

‘Teen Pehliyan’, as the name goes, is a combination of three short features which will be aired on Sunday, 22nd April, 2018 from 1:00pm onwards on Star Plus. Playing back to back will be the triad tales titled ‘Goodluck’, ‘Mirchi Malini’ and ‘Copy’.

Talking about his association with Star Plus, Mr. Sujoy Ghosh says, “I’m delighted that Star Plus has given me this opportunity. As a filmmaker it was very exciting for me to explore new story ideas that would cater to our new age audience. It was an experience to mould my thoughts and present them in the short feature format on television. I have always sought to introduce newer and bolder concepts into my work and change the viewers’ perception. Through Teen Pehliyan, I hope that people are engaged with the content this partnership offers.”

While Goodluck is helmed by Mr. Sujoy Ghosh, Mirchi Malini is directed by Mr. Pratim D Gupta and Copy by Mr. Arindam Sil, respectively.
