Star Plus' Naamkarann recently completed 400 episodes

Mahesh Bhatt has been one of the finest directors in the industry and with his television debut show ‘Naamkarann’ he made headlines for bringing his personal life in a fiction series. The show has seen many prominent faces including Reema Lagoo, Barkha Bist, Sayantani Ghosh, Viraf Patel and the legacy continued with grown-up Avni, the protagonist, as Aditi Rathore took over the small screen in her unconventional avatar.

The show completed 400 episodes recently and is moving towards a third leap of 10 years where the protagonist will be seen in a brand new look and character. As Avni becomes Nilanjana, a caretaker who is docile and fearful, the story will revolve around bringing together Neil Khanna back into her life. Many new faces such as Zaan Khan, Soni Singh, Mrunmayee Lagoo, Sana Sheikh among others will be seen playing supporting roles in this love saga of Avni.

Cherishing the journey, Aditi Rathore shared, “I am really excited with the way viewers and friends are appreciating the track. We are 400 episodes down and many more to come. We want our fans to love us more and more each day.”

Meanwhile, Zain quipped, “It is really overwhelming to be a part of such a succesful show. We are moving towards an interesting phase in the story and I look forward to the continued support of the audience.”
