Star Plus to celebrate womanhood with a unique show

Every year on International Women’s Day one witnesses multiple discussions over various issues plaguing Indian women today, but rarely is there a solution offered to them. This year, STAR Plus will attempt to bring about the change people want to see around them with their new initiative - No More Kamzor. On Saturday, March 8th at

1.00 PM, Star Plus will recognize and honour women who refused to let society defeat their indomitable spirit and through their stories of triumph convey information that will empower many others like them.

Hosted by a lady who best represents today’s strong, powerful and successful achiever – Vidya Balan, ‘No More Kamzor’ is based on the concept of empowering women with information being used as a powerful tool. Vidya will be seen interacting with women achievers who dared to bring about a change and through their stories and experiences share information - guidelines, laws & helplines to create awareness and empower women. The show will be interspersed with issue-centric performances creatively presented by well-known artists like Lauren Gotleib, Sayantani Ghosh and Shakti Mohan amongst others.
