Star Utsav and Star Plus lead U+R viewership in Week 15: BARC data

Broadcast Audience Research Council India (BARC) has released data for Week 15 (Saturday 10th April 2021 to Friday 16th April 2021). In the Hindi GEC space (HSM (U+R) NCCS All 2+ Individuals) Star Utsav and Star Plus emerged as the leading channels garnering Average Minute Audiences (AMA) of 2648.34 and 2345.5 impressions respectively.

Sony SAB and Sony Pal trailed behind with AMA of 1857.07 and 1615.85 impressions respectively. Zee Anmol garnered 1347.84 AMA impressions and stood at 5th place.

Hindi (Rural)

In HSM (Rural) NCCS All Individuals 2+ Individuals, Star Utsav was the leader by far garnering 1861.65 AMA followed by Sony Pal and Zee Anmol at 1089.7 and 1082.26 impressions respectively. Colors Rishtey and Dangal took 4th and 5th spots garnering 884.18 and 803.24 impressions respectively.

Star Utsav’s two shows ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ emerged as most watched shows garnering 6734 and 4178 AMA impressions respectively.

Zee Anmol’s Kundali Bhagya and ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’ garnered AMA of 6265 and 5952 impressions respectively. Kundali Bhagya which also airs on Zee TV took 5th spot with 4014 impressions.

Hindi (Urban)

Star Plus leads HSM (Urban) NCCS 2+ All Individuals with AMA of 1575.5 impressions. Sony SAB and Sony Entertainment Television follow in 2nd and 3rd place with 1235.73 and 897.45 impressions respectively. Colors and Star Utsav garnered AMA of 851.76 and 786.68 impressions respectively.

Star Plus’s Anupama recorded an AMA of 7789 impressions leading urban shows. This was followed by Imli and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meein with AMA of 6492 and 6453 impressions respectively. Sony Entertainment Television’s Super Dance Chapter 4 was the only non-Star show to make it to the top 5 programs with 5808 impressions. Star Plus’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai garnered 5574 impressions.
