STAR World changes its prime time strategy!
The leading English entertainment channel, STAR World has extended its prime time shows from the current Mon - Thu (4 days a week) to Mon-Fri (5 days a week) in order to meet viewer demand for these shows.
Starting November 1, the channel has extended four of its highly popular international shows i.e Masterchef Australia, Lie to Me, How I Met Your Mother and The Simpsons, from four days a week (Monday ' Thursday) to all five days a week (Monday ' Friday). Star World has been working on expanding its audience base and making English content more relatable to the Indian audience. This is one more step towards building viewer loyalty across the week.
Additionally, from November 8th onwards, the channel is planning to launch a new international series ' Modern Family in the 11pm timeband. The show will also air from Monday to Friday.
