Starcom picks Roche for Gurgaon and Kapoor for B'lore as VPs!

Starcom MediaVest Group announces the appointments of Gerald Roche and Sameer Kapoor as Vice Presidents at Gurgaon and Bangalore respectively. These appointments come in the wake of SMG solidifying its position as an employer of choice and are a step towards becoming the leading Media Agency in the country.

Gerald took over his duties at the SMG Bangalore office on the 16th of April 2013. He joins us from Madison where he was heading the media buying for Madison Media Infinity and Platinum Media

In a career spanning fifteen years, Gerald has worked with leading agencies, these being Madison Media, Sony Entertainment Television,Dubai Outdoor Media, MindShare, Carat Media Services, OMD Dubai, Bozell Prime, Dubai. He has handled important and significant clients in all his earlier stints. He brings to the table a proven ability to manage key account relationships and large-scale projects.

Sameer joins Starcom from Madison Media Plus where he was heading the Airtel Business. He took over his new responsibility on the 24th of January 2013 at Starcom’s Gurgaon office where he will be heading Samsung for Starcom.

Sameer brings to the table over a decade of experience in media, having worked with agencies like Madison media plus, Madison media, Initiative media, Optimum media solutions, Universal McCann. In his roles he has led sizeable teams managing significant businesses of leading brands in his previous stints.
