StayVista founders stepped on-ground to aid with the New Year rush

December was a resplendent affair for StayVista with overwhelming bookings throughout Christmas and full house occupancy over the New Year i. e. 30th December 2022 to 1st January 2023. Their luxurious villas at Nashik, Ooty, Coorg, Goa, Lonavala, Alibaug, Kasauli, Mussoorie, and Udaipur saw a turnover of guests like never before. StayVista’s core team along with the co–founders Ankita Sheth, Pranav Maheshwari, and Amit Damani showcased the true essence of hospitality and were on-ground to aid with the New Year rush.

Ankita Sheth, Co-Founder, StayVista, said, “Apart from assisting the team with a myriad of eleventh hour requests from the guests, the idea behind being personally available on the ground was to make New Year’s truly memorable by welcoming our guests in the finest of ways.” She added, “To me, the highlight of our year end bookings was an elaborated (wow) welcome along with guests meet and greets.”

Arrangements made for the guests’ arrivals were truly extraordinary and were planned around the idea of them experiencing the local culture. The crux was creating an aura of a contemporary stay with charming hints of traditionalism. Villas which were in and around Mumbai, the guests were greeted in a distinctive Maharashtrian style with dhols and garlands and were also gifted exclusively customized yet locally sourced gift hampers - likewise for other regions, pan-India.

Amit Damani, Co-Founder, StayVista, said, “A common request that was seen in most of the bookings was either a late check-out or an early check-in. Before every check-in, there is a thorough 45 mins. pre-stay audit that takes place to ensure that the villa is ready as per our defined guidelines. To be able to seamlessly accommodate our guests' request while following our audit protocol meant a faster turnaround time, hence, a lot of people from the back office were on-ground.”

“We were keen on providing every guest with top-notch hospitality, thus had focused on the nuances and every detail of the stay to ensure that our guests experienced distinguished customer service”. Said Pranav Maheshwari, Co-Founder, StayVista. He added, “With additional back-office staffing, we were able to battle a lot of unforeseen situations on the ground and provide timely help to our guests.”

Every StayVista team member right from the caretakers to the senior staff was thoroughly aligned to adhere to bespoke customer service by looking into every minute guest requirement. A testifying instance was the primary guest (the one who made the booking) knew that the property didn't have a swimming pool, however the same wasn't communicated to the other guests by the primary guest. Since the group had kids, they were looking forward to enjoying a dip in the pool. To not put a stop to their celebrations, the team went out of the way and drove for 45 minutes and brought an inflatable pool for the kids. A makeshift pool got the kids jumping with joy, making the time and efforts put in absolutely worth it!

StayVista team members' on-the-feet thinking was put to use more than once. A group of guests had thrown a themed party and had a decided dress code, unfortunately, at 11 PM, one of the guests' shirts tore. The caretakers meticulously arranged for a tailor late at night to fix a guest’s torn shirt, so that he could happily be a part of the festivities and the coordinated group pictures! Another noteworthy occurrence that speaks eons about StayVista’s meritorious customer service is a senior leader stepping up to the responsibilities of the caretaker, including preparing meals for the guests, as the caretaker of this property was unavailable due to a family medical emergency and being a rather busy holiday season, finding a replacement at a short notice got difficult.

The in-house event team at StayVista worked round-the-clock to incorporate unique and artsy arrangements based on guests’ requests - the most popular ones being bonfire, personal bartender, New Year’s décor, in-house live singing, photographers, karaoke, and DJ services.

At StayVista, the New Year has been a perfect example of showcasing the true spirit of hospitality with elements of teamwork, resilience, unity, and synergy that helped them successfully cater to the guests with a warm heart.
