Summer is here! And Deadpool is set to hit the idiot box

Guess which hilariously offensive anti-hero is making his blockbuster debut on Indian television this summer. With a brand-new cut which is now safe for work, Deadpool is set to hit the idiot box. Redefining ‘savage’, Deadpool managed to initiate a league of its own. A league of a distinct narration, a harbinger of a new directive. The bewildering quick shots (intentional, we believe), an off-beat protagonist, the frequent episodes of something blowing up (not sure what), and the deaths of some side-kicks in the film, together gave it a striking identity. Tim Miller changed the entire directorial game by breaking the fourth wall and once he made him even move it. Debated to be funnier than the first movie, Deadpool 2 is outrageous, surprising, hysterical, violent and you can catch Deadpool delivering a plethora of wickedly insightful jokes on Star Movies Sunday, 19 May at 1pm and 9pm.
