Sunder Venketraman joins Zoom as VP and Product Head

Former 9X Media Programming Head Sunder Venketraman is the newest member to join Times Television Network (TTN) after Sonal Khanduja. He is appointed as the Vice President and Product Head for TTN Bollywood news and entertainment channel Zoom.

Venketraman assumed the charge on Monday and is expected  to work closely with the business and leadership teams. The content, programming and OAP (on-air promotions) teams will directly report to him.

Venketraman will report to TTN MD and CEO MK Anand. A source, close to the development said that over the last few months there have been staff layoffs  across all levels; also there will be a few more organizational changes which will be announced soon.

Prior to this role, Venketraman was with 9X Media as the Head of its programming/content and was responsible for monetization of all 9XM India and UK digital assets and content through syndication in domestic as well as international markets.

He comes with over a decade of experience in the broadcasting space, including programming, content, music acquisition, label liaison, OAP, animation and day-to-day operations of the channels. He has also worked with MTunes and Music Xpress, UTV, Channel V, Synergy Adlabs, Sahara One Media, Eros International, Zee Arabiya, Zee TV UAE, Miditech and B4U Music.
