Sunil Kataria re-elected as ISA chairman
The Indian Society of Advertisers has re-elected CEO of Lifestyle Business at Raymond Ltd as the chairman of the ISA. The decision was taken after the newly elected Executive Council of the ISA met on September 29, 2022.
Kataria has been leading the society during the past six years, receiving support from members of ISA, fellow executive council members, as well as other industry bodies. In the past, his associations include Idea Cellular, VIP, Godrej, with strong industry experience, across numerous verticals of sales, marketing, businesses for more than 31 years.
Kataria said on his election: “On the way of generating greater value proposition for the ISA in the industry, our focus will be on making this differentiated body even stronger in the upcoming days, to offer value added support to our members in the new normal and beyond that. With the growth of digital advertising , our objective this year is to strengthen our efforts in the field of digital measurement.”
Kataria further mentioned: “The priorities in order to make ISA future ready include highering resource, capability, furthering visibility, value addition through work on media measurement, extending awareness and knowledge on government regulations, and turning the knowledge hub on local/global priorities in the communication space. In the upcoming months, the sub-committes which are formed for Public Policy, ISA Events, Multi- Screen Cross Media Measurement, and the already active Media Forum would be engaging themselves more with all the other members in order to ensure noteworthy success. He also mentioned “We at the ISA which is a founder member of the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) are further strengthening our partnership. The revamped value added website of the ISA as well as its social media presence, would support all the activities.”
Kataria is also optimistic about further enhancing partnership with BARC in the digital measurement area.
Sunil said: “We feel thankful to all fraternity organizations for their powerful support in assisting us to scale to newer heights. I also want to recognize the ongoing assistance by the members of the ISA in all our efforts.”
The Executive Council members of the ISA expressed its gratitude to Sunil for his immense contribution, as the chairman, during the past six years, and also expressed their happiness in electing him again for the 2022-23 term.
